Dr William Boothe is a lasik surgeon in Dallas TX, and has performed more IntraLASIK surgeries than anyone else in the world. Dr William A Boothe has been helping people with their vision since 1987 and has preformed over 99,000 Lasik procedures. Dr William Boothe meets with every patient before surgery and performs every surgery himself. In 1999, Dr William Boothe was named VISX Surgeon of the Year by the manufacturer of the VISX Laser.
Dr William Boothe’s passion for excellence and his commitment to state-of-the-art technology has made Boothe Eye Care and Laser Center one of the premier vision centers in the country. Dr William Boothe was also one of the very first cornea specialists to use an FDA-approved Excimer laser for refractive surgery. Dr William Boothe was also one of the very first surgeons to use a microkeratome, a tiny instrument that is used in traditional lasik.
Dr William Boothe is a native Texan and received his undergraduate degree from Rice University. He also attended the Texas Tech University School of Opthalmology. Dr William Boothe was a student of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed his fellowship at Jules Stein Eye Institute.
Dr William Boothe chose opthalmology as his specialty because, “[he] wanted to work in an interesting specialty, Opthalmology certainly qualified, since it is a fast-paced field that is continually evolving.”
